The house we have been living in for two years has been serving us well. We have a nice garden, it is safe and quite big. Moskitoes, dust and loud, early services from nearby churches I don't think anybody can escape...However, now the rent for the next two years is now up (in Ghana you pay in bulk for two or three years) and our landlord insists in charging us in USD. Unfortunately, the dollar has lately appriciated enormously against the Ghanaian Currency and what was 1:1 two years ago is today 1:1,45. Yikes!
So, we need to downscale and find something smaller. And cheaper.

Kajsa, I know of a house in Teshie that was 200 cedis a month during the last rent cycle (starting June 2007). It's becoming available in June. MORE than two bedrooms! In Teshie. Ah! If I had a life in Ghana, I'd surely take you up on your offer. I can't believe the price has fluctuated that much! Are you two planning to stay in Accra?
Oh, I meant I NEED a 2 br house in Greater Accra (East Legon, Airport or Tema preferrably), what I HAVE is an expensive 4 bedroom house in Tema!
